April is National Volunteer Month! At Amundson Dental Associates, we have been volunteering for 34 years at Valley Senior Living caring for the elderly residents providing dental services with understanding and love. Through the years, they have taught us so much more about life and gratefulness.
Samantha, Landon and Emerson are college students at the University of North Dakota and they will be volunteering in our community for “The Big Event” to help individuals and families with spring cleaning around their yards and homes. They also assist with Altru Health System’s home delivered meal service.
For those interested in learning more about volunteering in our community, we highly recommend checking out the Grand Forks Park District and the Grand Fork Senior Center.
Earth Day is April 22nd! Another great opportunity to volunteer! We encourage everyone to respect Mother Earth by appreciating its beauty and protecting it for the future. Remember to recycle, reuse, reduce and save water. Take little steps to reach bigger goals this Earth Day.
After a job well done and assisting others, it’s time to enjoy the outside to relax and take in the beauty mother nature has to offer. Whenever possible you can find us outside enjoying bike rides, long walks, picnics and fresh air.
